By accessing or using any part of the DataKnits website (dataknits.com) or the DataKnits No-Code ETL platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
DataKnits IT Solutions Pvt Ltd ("DataKnits", "we", "us") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
DataKnits provides a visual No-Code ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) platform that allows enterprise data engineers and analysts to design, compile, and execute data pipelines through a graphical interface. Our platform compiles visual designs into open-source PySpark or Scala scripts, or SQL push-down statements, that execute on your own infrastructure.
DataKnits does not host, store, or process your business data. All pipeline execution occurs within your own compute environment (on-premise, private cloud, or containerized infrastructure).
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, DataKnits grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
This license does not permit you to resell, sublicense, or distribute the Platform or compiled outputs as a competing service.
The DataKnits visual builder, its user interface, brand assets, logos, and underlying compilation engines are the exclusive intellectual property of DataKnits IT Solutions Pvt Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
Pipeline scripts compiled and outputted by the Platform from your visual designs are owned by you. DataKnits claims no ownership over your data schemas, transformation logic, or generated code outputs.
You agree not to use the Platform to:
The DataKnits Community edition is released under an open-source license (MIT or Apache 2.0 — refer to the applicable repository for the current license). You may use, modify, and distribute the Community edition in accordance with that license. Professional and Enterprise editions are governed exclusively by commercial subscription agreements.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. DATAKNITS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DATAKNITS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF DATAKNITS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
